Chinese Tour Operator Caissa Touristic AG on Wednesday announced that its revenue for 2017 increased by 21.24% to 8 billion RMB. The company said that it had profit of 0.2748 RMB per share. For the year, the net income attributable to the listed company increased 3.81% to 221 Million RMB. Among various businesses, Tourism service posted 7 billion RMB, an increase of 20.83% compared to the same period of 2017.
According to the statement, the company's main business includes tourism, sports, cruising, visa application, inbound serices etc.
Talking about the reason of its net profit growth in 2017, Caissa Touristic said that the company registered an impairment charge tied to its 100 million investment of Jiaxing Fund sports project, which hosts equity share of LeTV, a sports company that is constantly haunted by finanical crisis over the past year.
Regarding its 2018 development plan, Caissa Touristic said that it expects to post a total operating revenue of 8.847 billion RMB and a net profit of 338 million RMB by the end of the year. At the same time, the company will continue to develop more international travel flights and new destinations, innovate unique tourism products, optimize its destination management, and continuously improve tourism related financial derivative services in order to hold the lead and grow its tourism business.
